About Wicomico Goes Purple

Wicomico Goes Purple is a substance abuse awareness program that will engage our community to stand up against substance abuse.

The project encourages our youth and community to “GO PURPLE” as a sign of taking a stand against substance abuse.

The purpose of this project is to promote conversations about substance abuse–ones that includes prescription drugs.

WICOMICO GOES PURPLE is an initiative from the Wicomico County Opioid Intervention Team and the Salisbury Area Chamber of Commerce, in partnership with the Community Foundation of the Eastern Shore.
